Around San Francisco (2011-2020)

I moved to North Beach in 2011, taking a small apartment on Stockton and Francisco. About 5 months later, on the 4th of July, my upstairs neighbors inadvertently burned down the building. After months of looking in the neighborhood, I was unable to find a comparable apartment: my options were places either much crappier or much nicer. I chose nicer. And thus, i've remained in North Beach for these past years, with a decent view of things.

Presented here is my experience of this iconic place, of the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges, of Coit Tower, Lombard Street, Fleet Week, the Santa Crawl, Folsom Street Fair, and so on, but seen with as little respect for cliche as i can muster... except for the views from my apartment of sunrises, sunsets, moons and fog... those just can't be helped.
